A start up with a small HR department recently engaged Mint HR Solutions to conduct a grievance investigation due to the fact that their existing HR resource had already been involved in resolving the issue. We were able to respond quickly and Natalie visited their offices to interview members of staff involved, as well as review all related documentation. A report was produced with recommendations and Natalie also provided advice to the Directors on how to manage the case due to its complexity.
The outcome was that the Company and the individual were satisfied that an independent investigation had been carried out and any issues that needed to be addressed were highlighted and a resolution was agreed.
A small manufacturing Company with approximately 12 employees approached Mint HR Solutions as they wanted to ensure that they had the right HR documentation and procedures in place to ensure compliance. Natalie visited them and reviewed their current documentation and suggested some changes. Natalie also drafted an employee handbook specific to their needs and we will continue to visit their offices every few months to hold an HR clinic where employees can bring any questions relating to their employment or any concerns they have which can be fed back to the business before small issues escalate.
A company was facing insolvency and approached Natalie to assist with a redundancy consultation process. Natalie coached the Managing Director and produced a robust process including a timeline, she also drafted all documentation including scripts for meetings, letters to employees and statements of redundancy entitlement. The redundancy process was handled in a fair way and there were no appeals or litigation as a result.
